Our Story

Antiques On Queen Facade

Antiques On Queen is located next to the historic Capitol Theatre in picturesque Port Hope, ON.

A multi-dealer shop with an unbelievable assortment of quality antiques, including furniture, small items, silver, glass, textiles, couture, antique & estate jewellery, 19th century porcelain, used and rare books and more. Well worth a visit! Please check our website to confirm our current hours.

We Are Hiring!

We have two twelve-week positions available this summer; the anticipated start date is June 3. Each position is 35 hours per week.

Please note that both positions are in-person, and applicants will not be able to work remotely.

Social Media Coordinator

Tasks and Responsibilities include:

  • Processing sales
  • Helping customers
  • Taking and editing photos
  • Using social media to promote the business
  • Developing an email marketing campaign
  • Responding to customer inquiries (phone, email, social media and in person)
  • Creating and modifying store displays
  • Helping to keep the shop tidy

Digital Marketing Assistant

Tasks and Responsibilities include:

  • Processing sales
  • Helping customers
  • Taking and editing photos for our website and online promotion
  • Taking item measurements and noting condition and details
  • Creating online shop listings
  • Maintaining website and product databases
  • Creating website blog postings
  • Using social media to promote website products
  • Responding to customer inquiries (phone, email, social media and in person)
  • Creating and modifying store displays
  • Helping to keep the shop tidy

These positions are part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program. To apply for either position, you must:

  • Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job;
